Hot new Zodiac pics

You heard right! On the official site - have a look. Some breathtaking shots are in there. Mr. Savides has outdone himself with the cinematography.

Can all the Zodiac geeks unite and tell me how to save the pictures from the site?

EDIT - The pics can be found here on Flickr, in excellent quality. SORRY THESE HAVE BEEN TAKEN DOWN BY THE OWNER - IF ANYONE FINDS ANOTHER LINK TO THEM I'LL BE HAPPY TO POST IT UP!

THE TRAILER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes hell has frozen over and we have a trailer!!!!!!!!!!!!
Watch it over and over and over again, loop it! It was well worth the wait if you ask me! I'm getting such a Goodfellas vibe from this trailer for some reason! And the official site has also gone live. Check out the cool animation at the beginning.

Also because I love you all so much and realise that not all of you can handle those big files on the Yahoo page - here is a YouTube version of the trailer.

PS. Thanks to all the bloggers who emailed the links to me while I was at work, esp Mark Bernier - I have a great feeling you'll be in the film mate! Also thanks to my sister who doesn't a clue on how to use a blog for posting the link for me while I was busy! Like I said more trailer analysis soon!

Sneak Peek at the Movie?

A blogger has commonted on the previous post claiming that "Entertainment Tonight is supposed to be airing a sneak preview of Zodiac - Thursday Nov. 16th at 7pm Eastern!". So when this airs I'll be at work - so if any of you bloggers catch the segment or can tape it and upload it on YouTube it would be greatly appreciated - please leave a comment/link below.
Hoping for new fresh footage soon!

New Fincher Ad!

While he's waiting for his movie to be released Fincher has directed the latest ad for the upcoming XBox360 game Gears of War. Check it out below.

Now I love Fincher but anyone could have directed this ad. He has basically just given a song to a bunch of FMV cut out scenes from the game. Having said that Gary Jules' cover of the Tears for Fears song 'Mad World' gives the ad an artistic touch and makes it an ad that stands out compared to other cliched video games ads. Check out some parodies here.
EDIT - A BLOG POSTER HAS INFORMED US THAT FINCHER WAS ONLY A CREATIVE CONSULTANT FOR THIS - MAKES ALOT OF SENSE! NICE LITTLE PAY CHECK FOR THE FINCH MAN.
Now since we are all waiting for Zodiac to be released I'd like to get a glimpse of what the Zodiac gamers like to waste their time on. DS vs PSP? 360 vs PS3 vs Wii? Tell me who you think the superior system will be.

Bad News People

You know it's going to be a long week when you wake up to news like this - the Zodiac release date has BEEN PUSHED BACK TO MARCH 2! This news has also been picked up by our bloggers and reported on other websites. Talk about infuriating for the fans, no trailer and this - another blow for the patient Fincher admirers.
I can only assume that Fincher isn't happy with the final cut of the movie and needs more time to retool it. That or either Paramount has really dropped the ball on this one. - D for marketing guys!
Do any of you fellow readers know the significance of this delay? Is March a better month for the movie to be released than January?
UPDATE - Latin hearthrob Iggy Romero points out a new Jeffery Wells article and he again claims that the movie is nearing completion! He then goes out to point out a scheduling conflict Paramount has with Dreamgirls & World Trade Centre all in heavy Oscar campaigns. Now you the readers tell me what movie would you rather see and which movie do you think has a better shot at Oscars - Dreamgirls, World Trade Centre or The Zodiac?
